This article, beginning from a categorizationof the professionals that practices teaching andnon teaching activities in the Municipal EducationNet of Curitiba, establishes a profile of thoseprofessionals in the capital of Parana state.The published data are part of a dissertationof master’s degree, concluded in 2008, by theauthor, and presented in the Line of PoliticsResearches and Management of the Education ofthe Postgraduate Course in Education, at FederalUniversity of Parana, titled as Career and profileof the primary school teaching professional in themunicipal Net of Teaching of Curitiba: history andimpact of the Brazilian politics of increase in valueof school teaching. To construct the profile, it wasused the Annual Relation of Social Informations ofthe Department of Labor and Job and Informationgiven to SISMMAC by the Municipal GeneralOffices of Education and Human Resources. Thusit was considered to the analyses a distributionof the professionals by genre, age, schooling,time of service, number of bonds in the RME andcareer situation.
