In recent years, dentistry and multidisciplinarity have been progressively advanced in the field of technical-scientific knowledge and health promotion. However, even with this progress, oral diseases continue to disproportionately affect different segments of the population, widening existing disparities. This is because, although the benefits of changing habits are widely recognized by professionals and students in the field, this information does not Always reach the most vulnerable groups. For that reason, it is crucial to implement health promotion measures that take social inequalities into account, through preventive programs in needy communities, as part of extension initiatives. Therefore, it is essential to prioritize education about oral health, empowering individuals with the knowledge and resources necessary to develop and maintain habits that promote health and prevent oral diseases, thus reducing health inequality and positively influencing these communities. Increase the information rate and improve the population’s Oral Health conditions, in order to promote awareness and indicate treatment, when necessary. This is a reporto f experiences arising from an extension Project of the “Universidade Sem Fronteiras” program, which promotes oral health education actions for children from municipal schools in two cities in the North of Paraná. The actions of this Project are very relevant in the context of health in this region and also have a positive impact on the professional qualification of dentistry graduates, through contact with university extension.
