This study was based on knowing Elementary school teachers thoughts on living beings with emphasison fungi. We proposed two activities in which teachers had described how they worked with the subject.Analyses were carried out on Bachelard epistemological obstacles. The results indicated that teacherspresented the following obstacles: concrete experience obstacle, which is related to simple comment description;common knowledge obstacle, characterized by general and vague answers; the verbal obstacle,in which answers do not really explain much; the pragmatic obstacle, in which the main perspective is autilitarian one. In this study we realized the need to increase and examine primary school teachers livingbeing concepts, especially fungi.Downloads
