LIBERALISMO E ESTATISMO NO PENSAMENTO ECONÔMICO DO EMPRESARIADO INDUSTRIAL BRASILEIRO NA VIRADA DA DÉCADA DE 1970

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo sintetizar a construção do pensamento econômico do empresariado industrial no Brasil quanto ao papel do Estado na economia na virada da década de 1970. Pretendeu-se com ele apresentar a forma como esses empresários procuraram se posicionar diante das mudanças ocorridas na economia nacional e no capitalismo internacional, nesse período. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo do discurso público do empresariado industrial, em especial por meio de publicações oficiais de duas das principais entidades representativas da classe, a FIESP e a CNI. Por meio desta investigação pudemos concluir preliminarmente que o empresariado industrial no Brasil expressou seu pensamento de forma bastante pragmática na busca de seus interesses, sem maior viés ideológico.
