ETHNOGRAPHIES OF THE EXPERIENCES OF PALESTINIAN PEOPLE IN DISPLACEMENT

Abstract

In this dossier, we deal with the Palestinian diaspora in Brazil, from its establishment, the relationship between the multiple forced displacements and the Israeli colonization of the territory to the Palestinian ways of existence, which resist and create the means to exist under occupation, in refuge and in diaspora. Touching on themes such as the continuing Nakba, food, blood and creation, the articles move between immigration, diaspora and refuge, ethnographically demonstrating a web of Palestinian life woven by living displaced, making and remaking connections with the ancestral land.
