Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is unpublished, that is, it was not previously published in the form of an article or book chapter. It is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it must be justified in "Comments to the editor" (for example: "version of this manuscript was presented in event X at XXXX")
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- The text strictly follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in Guidelines for Authors. All cited articles include doi (searchable using the tool: https://doi.crossref.org/simpleTextQuery).
- All web page addresses (URLs) included in the text are active and ready to click.
- The author identification of this work was removed from the body of the text. The document was also inspected in order to exclude identification records (Properties option in the Word file), thus guaranteeing the journal's confidentiality criterion, according to the instructions available in Ensuring blind peer review.
- Submission metadata (data of all authors, including institutional affiliation, email and ORCID ID; title; abstract; keywords; areas of knowledge; language) were duly included in the platform.
- In the case of submissions to dossiers, I understand that I must include in the field "Comments to the editor" the name of the dossier to which the material is addressed.
