PRINCIPAL COMPONENT ANALYSIS EXAMPLE OF APPLICATION IN GRAPE MUST DIFFERENTIATION
Abstract
Multivariate statistic analysis, as is the case of the Principal Component Analysis (ACP), fit perfectely for interpretation of enology results. The mosts and wines can be defined by the conjunct o f its constitutive characteristics. Smal! differences are not significative in each cne af its components and can effectivelly differenciate each wine from the other. The ACP simplify the compreension of a complex problem with a minimum 1055 af informations. This work presents a practical form of an ACP interpretation carried out to evaluate the organic acid composition of grape mosts from four different grapevine varieties and from two types of soils.
