Abstract

Ôvo, larva, pupa e adultos de Glyptotendipes barbipes (Staeger) são registrados e descritos pela primeira vez do Oriente. A espécie era previamente conhecida da Europa e America do Norte. O método de tecelagen da seda pelas larvas é ´também colocado neste trabalho.

Abstract

Egg, larva, pupa and the imagines of Glyptotendipes barbipes (Staeger) are first recorded and described from the Orient. lhe species was previously known from Europe and North America. The method of silk spinning by the larvae in the laboratory is also stated in this paper.

Oeuf, larve, pupe et adultes du Glyptotendipes barbipes (Staeger) sont registrées et décrites pour la première fois d'Oriente. La espèce etait deja connue d'Enrope et de l'Amerique du Nord. Le méthode de tissure de la soie pour les larves est aussi décrit.
