Abstract
This essay was originally intended as a lecture on the future of digital imaging and is now part of a larger work that explores the topics presented here in more depth. It is therefore, strictly speaking, an essay-like research project. The topics specifically developed are:

- Non-Human Intelligences
- Towards a "Digital Epoch"
