This paper intends to analyze the denaturalization of the concepts of sex, gender and sexuality, aiming to examine if these categories build processes of normalization and fabrication of the human subject. It is assumed that transvestite identity experience can demonstrate the constructed character of all identities. For the development of the work, it was decided to review some theories about the discursive construction of gender and sexuality, besides using data collected in ethnographic research on transvestites.
