Automation has become essential for the efficiency of industrial processes. In this context, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) stand out as an innovative solution for internal logistics processes, enabling greater flexibility, efficiency, and operational safety. This research aims to investigate the implementation of AMRs in an industrial environment and, thus, improve the delivery of finished products, reduce manual efforts, minimize operational errors, and optimize the internal logistics time of the company under study. Through applied research, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches and using descriptive study techniques, a comprehensive study was conducted to optimize the process, considering factors such as load capacity, the impact of distance on production flow, and compliance with safety standards, such as ISO 3691-4. A technological solution based on Industry 4.0 concepts was proposed, in addition to preliminary analyses and tests to assess the potential of AMRs. The preliminary results indicate significant gains in the production process, making this alternative viable for improving the internal transportation of finished products.
