Abstract

This is a study about the affectivity present in the racial interaction once the implementation of the quota policy was made for African-Brazilians at the Universidade de Brasília. The racial affirmative politicy exposes individuals to affective processes that mobilize the prejudice and the politicity of members of the groups. The socionomy and the theories of social identity were used as theoretical suport. Sociodrama was the method used for the investigation of the phenomenom. Two sociodramas were made in a group of university students during the initial period of the existence of the quota system and are described and analysed in the present study. In these events it has been observed that attitudes relative to modern racism were explicated during group interaction, with the release of cognitive/emotional contents impeditive of the racial inclusion.
