Abstract

This article aimed to investigate internal structure validity evidences to CSAI-2 in athletes by means of Rasch model. 172 athletes, from five different sports modality, aged from 14 to 58 years old (mean age 21 years, DP=5,99) were studied. The scale is composed by 27 items assessed in a four point likert scale based on the occurrence frequency of the behaviors. The item response category analysis revealed the adequacy of three category levels in the items assessment. The results suggest a reformulation of one of the CSAI's-2 category response should be done to facilitate item comprehension.

Daniel Bartholomeu é psicólogo Doutor em Psicologia pela Universidade São Francisco. É colaborador do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Psicologia do Esporte (NEPESPE) onde realiza seus estudos de pós doutorado em Psicologia do Esporte e do Laboratório de Avaliação Psicológica e Educacional (LabAPE). Atua como docente no Centro Universitário Salesiano de Americana, onde coordena o Laboratório de Psicodiagnóstico e Neurociências Cognitivas.

José Maria Montiel, Anhanguera Educacional

José Maria Montiel possui graduação em Psicologia, mestrado em Avaliação Psicológica em Contextos de Saúde Mental. Doutorado em Psicologia (Avaliação Psicológica em Contextos de Saúde Mental) pela Universidade São Francisco. Tem experiência na área de Psicologia, com ênfase em Psicologia Cognitiva e Neuropsicologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: avaliação psicológica, avaliação neuropsicológica com ênfase em transtornos mentais, desenvolvimento de instrumentos para avaliação psicológica e neuropsicológica e intervenções psicológicas. Afonso Antonio Machado é formado pela PUC em Educação Física, tendo realizado seu doutorado e mestrado em Educação, pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas. É livre docente pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. É colaborador do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisa em Psicologia do Esporte (NEPESPE). Atualmente é docente da Graduação em Educação Física na Escola Superior de Educação Física de Jundiaí, no Instituto Superior de Educação Uirapuru (Sorocaba) e professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, onde ministra aulas na graduação e pós-graduação.
