This article aimed to investigate internal structure validity evidences to CSAI-2 in athletes by means of Rasch model. 172 athletes, from five different sports modality, aged from 14 to 58 years old (mean age 21 years, DP=5,99) were studied. The scale is composed by 27 items assessed in a four point likert scale based on the occurrence frequency of the behaviors. The item response category analysis revealed the adequacy of three category levels in the items assessment. The results suggest a reformulation of one of the CSAI's-2 category response should be done to facilitate item comprehension.
