Abstract

This article has for objective to display some critical reflections on the
process of institutionalization of the medieval papacy one between
centuries XI and XIII. For this we will take as focus of analysis the
legislation produced for the IV Council of Lateran (1215), approaching
the representation of time found there as object of study of the dimensions and you reach descriptions of the institucional apparatus then produced by the pontifical monarchy.
