The aim of this paper is the analysis of some of the possibilities of interpretation in what concerns the construction of Amiano Marcelino’s plural identity, maintaining, as a fundamental aspect, the barbarianism of the Late Roman Empire’s army. In light of the extension of the time curve that this follows, and the great variety of topics that can be extracted through subsequent analysis and comprehension, we have herein highlighted three topics which converge into the same military apparatus component, the foreign element, and also in three specific moments in Roman history: through the politico-religious-military aspects that this Barbarian influenced by his voice to spur on the Roman emperors of this period, and by tactics, strategies and logistics of war, fundamental aspects of his work. This article derives from three distinct works of research, though containing the same thematic axis.Downloads
