Abstract

The present article intends to analyse the questions that made possible to the anthropologist Emílio Willems the formulation of the term “teutobrasileiro” (German-Brazilian) as a sociological concept, which designates the populations of German and descending immigrants in Brazil, during the decade of 1940.
