Abstract

In this article our aim is to demonstrate how the Barbarian plays therole of disrupting the order of the city in the plutarchean narrative, especially in the classic age of the Greek history, using as a case study the perspective of Plutarch regarding the participation of Alcibiades and Lysander in the Peloponnesian War.
