Como o Báltico foi reconquistado segundo a historiografia soviética

Abstract

Through a bibliographical survey and analysis of sources written by Soviets and published in the USSR for domestic or foreign consumption, as well as by foreign publishers, this article presents the version that researchers, military personnel and politicians from the USSR constructed over decades about the Baltic Question and the reconquest of its three republics for the Soviet Union during the Second World War. Instead of a cohesive, crystallized and repetitive whole, as would be expected from centrally produced propaganda, we find a fragmented scenario, with different authors citing different phenomena as priorities for the outcome of the process, with the existence of some secondary contradictions.
