Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- I confirm that the manuscript submitted here has not been published elsewhere in any other language and is not (nor will be) under simultaneous consideration by another journal. If the submitted work originates from a monographic text (e.g., thesis or dissertation), this origin must be explicitly disclosed upon submission. I am aware that submissions containing identical portions (“copied” and “pasted”) from the original monographic text will not be accepted. Furthermore, I confirm that I am fully aware of the Journal's policies, particularly those related to the Ethics and Malpractice Statement and the Potential Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Submitted Papers.
- I confirm that this submission is in accordance, in relation to authors, to the condition of single article in editorial process, as well as to the interval of three issues between the publication of two articles by the same author.
- I confirm that the manuscript herein submitted fully meets the criteria outlined in the Author Guidelines, among them ABNT standards (including applicable to the abstract) and third-person writing. ALL citations used in the manuscript (including laws and jurisprudence), and ONLY them, are properly listed in the reference list at the end of the paper. Self-citations (if any) in the manuscript are in accordance with the guidelines of the Journal. I am aware that failure to fully comply with the guidelines shall imply summary rejection of the manuscript.
- I am aware that the thematic availability of reviewers, thematic distribution throughout editions, specific contextual circumstances and quantitative aspects of articles submitted and not yet edited, are factors that can lead to the rejection and consequent archiving of the article, at the sole discretion of the editorial team.
- I expressly authorize the RFDUFPR staff to freely revise and edit the entire manuscript (including the title, abstract, and keywords) to adapt it to the Journal's standards, at the discretion of the editor. The authorization for revision does not include conceptual changes, which, if necessary, will be discussed with the author prior to publication.
-
I am aware that I must inform, in the submission (and not in the text of the article, which should not contain any information related to authorship, in order to allow the application of the aformentioned double-blind peer review method) and in relation to each of the authors (if there is more than one), the main institution of affiliation, as well as a valid personal email address and a short biographical statement, including the highest academic degree achieved and a link to the currículo Lattes (Lattes iD) (for foreign authors with no Lattes iD, provide an alternative academic curriculum link). I am also aware that I will have to inform, in the proper fields, the ORCID iD and the complete ORCID URL regarding each author.
- I acknowledge that the use of generative artificial intelligence tools must strictly comply with the Journal’s editorial rules, guidelines, and policies, and that any use of such tools in violation of these standards – including, but not limited to, the generation, fabrication, or incorrect attribution of bibliographic references, data, citations, or factual content that is nonexistent or not verifiable – will result in the immediate rejection of the submission, without prejudice to the adoption of additional editorial measures, including the banning of the author(s) from the Journal’s submission process.
