O entorno estratégico indiano: uma análise das ameaças e dilemas de segurança do país.
Resumo
Considerando a realidade geopolítica indiana, profundamente marcada pelas instabilidades no relacionamento com países vizinhos - como Paquistão e China - além da histórica presença de grandes potências ocidentais no subcontinente asiático, Nova Déli vem orientando sua política externa e de segurança de modo a tornar o país uma potência autônoma capaz de repelir qualquer ameaça aos seus interesses vitais. O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar o entorno estratégico indiano a partir das ameaças potenciais existentes, tendo como abordagem teórica o Realismo e será dividido em duas partes: “Geografia e pensamento estratégico indiano”; e “Entorno estratégico: ameaças, formação e perspectivas”.
