Nesta entrevista, a antropóloga Marta Amoroso discute suas contribuições para a disciplina, especialmente nos campos da história indígena e das cosmopolíticas indígenas contemporâneas. Formada em História na USP na década de 1970, foi por meio da leitura de Sérgio Buarque e Pierre Clastres que ela se lançou na pós-graduação em Antropologia, com pesquisas de referência sobre os Mura no período colonial e sobre coletivos indígenas diversos em aldeamentos capuchinhos do século XIX. Na carreira docente, realizada no Departamento de Antropologia da USP, e em diálogo com autores como Manuela Carneiro da Cunha e Tim Ingold, Marta Amoroso vem investigando modos de composição de relações e de paisagens entre os Mura contemporâneos, seja na formação de aldeias como em seus deslocamentos por seu território.
