Cantadores nordestinos e tradicionalistas gaúchos: a tradição nas lutas por inserções e autenticidades

Este artigo é resultado de um estudo comparativo das dinâmicas de duas instituições localizadas na capital do país: a Casa do Cantador e o Centro de Tradições Gaúchas (CTG). Nelas, cantadores nordestinos e tradicionalistas gaúchos resgatam e atualizam manifestações culturais identificadas com seus contextos de origem. Por um lado, estamos diante de uma possível análise sobre processos migratórios. No entanto, à medida que as pessoas vão se fixando no cenário da capital, seus Centros de Tradições não funcionam apenas como uma estratégia de adaptação ao lugar de destino. Nestes espaços são tecidos laços sociais e formas de convivência e de reciprocidade em situações urbanas.
