Author Biography

Renan Martins Pereira, Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar)

Doutorando pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Antropologia Social (PPGAS) da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar), mestre em Antropologia Social pelo mesmo Programa e bacharel em Ciências Sociais pela mesma Universidade. Foi bolsista na graduação pelo PIBIC/CNPQ/UFSCar de 2009 a 2010 e bolsista no mestrado pelo CNPQ de 2015 a 2017. Pesquisador integrado ao Grupo Hybris (Grupo de Estudo e Pesquisa sobre Relações de Poder, Conflitos, Socialidades, PPGAS - UFSCar/USP) e ao LE-E (Laboratório de Experimentações Etnográficas, PPGAS - UFSCar). Realiza pesquisa de campo no sertão de Pernambuco desde 2016. Tem experiência na área de antropologia, com ênfase nos seguintes temas: seca, tempo e espaco, memória e relações humano-animal.
