Abstract

Menotti Del Picchia, importante poeta paulista da primeira metade do século XX, publicou, na década de 40, talvez o primeiro livro de ficção científica brasileiro, no qual o herói é um oficial do Exército que também é um antropólogo. A aventura se desenrola no coração do Brasil Central. Esta resenha tardia pretende analisar os conhecimentos do Autor no que se refere à ciência da época, à geografia do interior do país e, principalmente, ao seu conhecimento antropológico.
