SPORT, SOCIETY AND RESEARCH: METHODOLOGY AND PUBLIC POLICIES ANALYSIS. THE CASE OF VENEZUELA 1999-2011

A simple, rigorous and effective methodology is used to study as an integrated whole sports public policy in Venezuela during the Government of President Hugo Chávez (1999-2011), at the same time that analyzes each one of its components (game, physical education, sport and recreation) separately. The analysis is completed with a body of propositions in the theoretical-conceptual and in particular, to contribute to the design and implementation of a sports public policy at the service of the entire population.
