Abstract

Este trabalho busca analisar as formações discursivas, conforme definição de Michel Foucault (2004) na obra “A Arqueologia do Saber” (lançada em 1969), produzidas pelo jornalismo impresso sobre a final da Copa do Mundo de futebol de 2022 no Catar. Nosso corpus de pesquisa são jornais franceses, argentinos e brasileiros de maior tiragem em seus países, nas edições de 18/12/22 (dia da final da Copa) e de 19/12/22 (dia seguinte). Pretendemos compreender o funcionamento discursivo das capas dos jornais e as relações de sentido, historicidade e materialidade em torno dos nacionalismos na oposição Europa-América do Sul.
