Abstract

Se presenta un estudio bibliométrico realizado para evaluar la cantidad de producción científica de la temática Ciencia del Deporte, a través de la Colección Principal de Web of Science durante el periodo 2010-2014, examinándose una muestra de 836 artículos. Valorando las principales revistas de publicación, la concentración de artículos en las revistas, los principales autores, el índice h y la tasa de crecimiento. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan el papel que desempeña la temática de Sport Science.
