Abstract

The aim of the study was to verify the occurrence of species of coccinelid predators in nectarine orchards (Prunus persica var. Nucipersica) in the municipality of Araucária, PR, in two Bruna orchards, 24 Möericke-type traps were installed between September and December of 2006, including the phases of flowering, development, maturation and harvest of fruits. Specimens were collected weekly and identified. The following species were found: Harmonia axyridis, Cycloneda sanguinea, Hyppodamia convergens and Cycloneda pulchella.
