Resumo

Estudou-se o comportamento dos tabanídeos (Diptera, Tabanidae) capturados mediante atração eqüina e humana, no primeiro planalto e região costeira do Paraná, Brasil. Analisou-se a atividade diária das espécies frente a fatores ambientais e preferência pela região anatômica nos hospedeiros durante a alimentação.

ABSTRACT

Behavior of the Tabanidae (Diptera) captured by means of horse and human attractions, in the first plateau and coastal area of Paraná (Brazil) was studied. The daily activity of the species, its relationships with environment and preference for the anatomical areas of the host during the feeding were analyzed.

RÉSUMÉ

Comportement du Tabanidae (Diptera) a capturé au moyen de attractions de cheval et des humaines, dans le premier plateau et région côtière de Paraná (Brésil) a été étudié. L'activité journalière de l'espèce, ses rapports avec environnement et préférence pour les régions anatomiques de l'hôte pendant l'alimentation ont été analysés.
