Abstract

Este trabalho vem complementar o estudo do aparelho digestivo deTrichomycterus brasiliensis. Pelas evidéncias anatômiicas do tubo digestivo tais como: esôfago e estômago distensiveis, estôrnago alongado, intestino curto e coeficiente intestinal de 1,77 a 1,84, podemos dizer, segundo dados obtidos na literatura, que esta espécie tern uma dieta variada, corn predromínio de material de origem animal.

Abstract

The present is to cornplete a study on the digestive apparatus of Trichomycterus brasiliensis . The anatomic characteristics of its digestive tube show that it is a carnivorous species. This is supported by the presence of a large esophagus, a long stomach and a short i intestinal tube. Another important anatomic characteristic is the intestinal coefficient between 1,77 and 1,84. Species with this value, despite their varied died, are considered by many authors as fish that derive nutrition principally from animal sources.

Résumé

L'objectif de ce travail a été d'étudier Iappareil digestif de Trichomycterus brasiliensis . Les caractéristiques anatomiques du tube digestif montrent que cette espéce est carnivore. Ce fait a été en evidence par la presence dun long oesophage, un estomac allongé et un intestin court. Une autre caractéristique anatomique importante est le coefficient intestinal qui a été situé entre 1,77 et 1,84 Les espéces que présentent ces valeurs, selon la littérature, ont une diète variée, avec une predominance du materiel dorigine animale.
