Resumo

Descrição de uma nova espécie de Fidena Walker ( Diptera, Tabanidae) do Brasil. Fidena campolarguense sp. n., fêmea, do do Brasil é descrita e ilustrada. Esta espécie é reconhecida por apresentar probóscide muito longa e fina e o VI tergito com tufos de pêlos em ambos os lados.

Abstract

Description of a new species of Fidena Walker ( Diptera, Tabanidae) from Brazil. Fidena campolarguense sp. n., female from southem Brazil is described and illustrated. This species is recognized by a long and narrow proboscis and the tergite VI with hair tufts on the right and left sides.

Résumé

Description dune nouvelle espèces de Fidena WALKER (Diptera, Tabanidae) du sud du Brésil. Fidena campolarguense sp. n.. femelle est décrite et ilustrée. Cette espèce est reconnue pour présenter une trompe longue et mince et le sixiéme tergite avec des tufs de poils des deux côtés.
