El problema de la virtud en la ética de Hermann Cohen

Abstract

Hermann Cohen considera que o problema moral consiste na correlação entre o indivíduo e a universalidade. Contudo, no nível da fundamentação da sua ética somente há lugar para a universalidade moral, que se realiza na auto-consciência moral. Esta última se expressa na vontade do Estado, por meio da legislação. Neste trabalho pretendo investigar se o conceito de virtude pode incorporar a dimensão da individualidade na ética de Cohen.
