Abstract

The article pays tribute to Professor Vinicius de Figueiredo, highlighting his interests and contributions regarding art and Brazil. This was developed alongside his better-known passions for modern philosophy and Immanuel Kant. In all these areas, he maintained an open ethics of conversation that combined rigor with generosity.
