Abstract

Considering that the attachment interfere in cognitive development this research sought to understand the
relationship between children and nonresident fathers, attachment representation and write performance.
Attended by 43 elementary school students whose did not reside with their father being used for data
collection: Family Drawing, Assessment of Learning Disabilities in Writing. Results showed increases in
anxious and insecure signals corresponds to the highest number of errors in writing; the shorter the time
non residence parent / child, the greater the number of errors in writing. Participants that relate to the
father performed better in writing.This research concludes that both the attachment representation as the
relationship between children and nonresident fathers influence the performance in writing.

Possui Mestrado em Psicologia da Educação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1994), Doutorado em Psicologia da Educação pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1997). Atualmente é professora titular do Centro Universitário FIEO, Coordenadora do Programa em Psicologia Educacional do UNIFIEO, Membro do Comite de Etica em Pesquisa (CEP) do UNIFIEO, coordenadora do GT Aprendizagem humana na Associação Nacional de Pesquisa e Pós-Graduação em Psicologia (ANPEPP). Editora do periódico Cadernos de Psicopedagogia. Seus principais interesses estão voltados para o estudo dos processos de aprendizagem humana em seu desenvolvimento integral e dificuldades específicas entendendo que nesse processo as variáveis psicológicas encontram-se articuladas a componentes sociais. Suas pesquisas nessa área têm investigado a aprendizagem em diferentes contextos: escola, família, abrigos. Atualmente tem se dedicado mais ao estudo de temas relacionados à identificação dos aspectos preditivos dos problemas de aprendizagem da lecto escrita.
