Abstract

This article aims to highlight the importance of the relationship between emotion and other psychic functions. Use is made of concepts expressed in the works of Henri Wallon and Lev Vigotski. The article shows emotion as being the foremost form of communication and emphasizes the transformations it suffers as people go through life and emotion has to relate with other functions, finally expressing itself with or through such functions.
