O presente artigo tem como objetivo discutir a teoria junguiana, a perspectiva de Carl Gustav Jung, fundador da psicologia analítica, nas suas bases epistemológicas e metodológicas. Os esforços estão concentrados em viabilizar a discussão em torno do pensamento e da experiência, baseando-se no levantamento bibliográfico da obra de Jung. A relevância do tema permanece atual, sobretudo para a psicologia e quem se dedica a estudar a constituição do psiquismo. As conclusões alcançadas no trabalho deixam, em aberto, a necessidade de permanecer estudando a obra junguiana, para que se alcance maior aprofundamento nas bases epistemológicas de sua teoria.
