Abstract

Reporting of the study in which the model Family Therapeutic Consultations (FTC) was applied in the
treatment of families with aggressive children. This model was developed by the authors based on the
work of R. Benenzon in music therapy, and D. Winnicott, in therapeutic consultations. Six families took
part and were subjected to an initial interwiew (II), interactive time (IT) and session with caregivers (SC),
in ambulatory units. In some cases, there were also school observations (SO). The EIs, HIs, LEs and SCs
were recorded in writing, and HIs were also recorded audio-visually. The analysis showed decrease in
aggressive behaviors of children related to feelings of insecurity and mistrust of caregivers. The model
presented itself as viable and fecund, if all caregivers adhere to it.
