Abstract

The aim of the study was to verify the reliability of Pfister’s Colors Pyramid Test using the test and
retest method. The participants were 25 males, college students. The tests were applied individually
and retest occurred five months later. As expected, the frequency of colors proved to variate from one
situation to another, but the same did not happen with the formal aspect and chromatic formula that
achieved good levels of stability. The results corresponded to that was expected since the test assesses
the emotional dynamics of the individual, composed of relatively transient states in a dynamic that
involves more structural aspects. The study points to the reliability of the test, although further studies
are still to be made.
