Abstract

This article presents one of the works by the philosopher Sören Kierkegaard signed by the charac-ter
Anti-Climacus. It opens with a critique to the speculation of knowledge that is away from concrete reality
and bears no implication to life. The task of the psychologist, according to Anti-Climacus, would be to
detect the despair, as well as the doctor detects the presence of the organ-ic disease in the patient who
states he is well. There are ‘ways of subjectivation’, described in the work, either in the consciousness or
unconciousness of having a self, in the emprisonment to what is temporal in prejudice of what is eternal,
in the forgetfulness of the necessary in favor of the possible or vice-versa. It aims at showing the actuality
of studying this work to the psychologist.
