Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

READ CAREFULLY THE NORMS SPECIFIED BELOW 

The authors are aware that the submission of a manuscript through the SER/OJS system implies their compliance with all norms and conditions expressed on the Guidelines to Authors and declare that the submission strictly obeys those guidelines.

Research reports, critical literature reviews and theoretical or historical studies are limited to 25 pages, including not-identified cover sheet and references.

Book reviews and case studies are limited to 15 pages, including cover sheet and references.

Research Reports

Investigative articles based on empirical data using the scientific method. This type of study is limited to 25 pages (including title, abstract, references and appendices).

Critical Literature Reviews

Articles in which is thoroughly analyzed the relevant literature of a topic of interest in Psychology, identifying gaps, contradictions, inconsistencies or relations still not identified in the literature, and prescribing directions to new scientific works based on the aspects of the examined literature. Interação em Psicologia strongly suggests that authors of this kind of article should fully adopt the guidelines of the PRISMA group for systematic reviews of literature and meta-analyses (http://www.prisma-statement.org). This type of study is limited to 25 pages (including title, abstract, references and appendices).

Theoretical or Historical Studies

Articles which analyses theoretic concepts or researches of historical nature. This type of study is limited to 25 pages (including title, abstract, references and appendices). 

Case Studies

Articles that describe and evaluate professional interventions performed to people, groups, institutions or communities of interest of Psychology professionals. It is important that in this kind of text the innovations in the intervention are highlighted and that the compatible evaluation of the results is presented. This type of study is limited to 15 pages (including title, abstract, references and appendices).
