Abstract

This essay intends evaluate the relationship between theory and pratice in the teaching of History since the nineteenth century. The main goal is to articulate a well defined point of view: the brazilian History of Education, and more especifically, the studies about teaching of History, have been marked by misunderstandings in the theoretical field, which vulgarize all the debate about theory and teatching pratice in Brazilian History.
