A luta por novos imaginários sociais: Drucilla Cornell, Frantz Fanon e a forma da subjetividade jurídica
Resumo
O objetivo deste artigo é propor uma articulação entre as reflexões políticas de Frantz Fanon e de Drucilla Cornell no tocante à transformação social e à subjetividade jurídica. A pesquisa adota como ponta de partida a leitura que Cornell faz de Fanon, ressaltando a maneira pela qual a posição do autor promove a luta por novos imaginários sociais em meio à transformação radical proporcionada pela prática revolucionária. Com base nesses marcos teóricos, a pesquisa busca verificar se transformações importantes para a subjetividade jurídica podem ser atreladas ao processo de formulação de novas demandas políticas. A segunda seção do artigo aproxima os autores mediante um paralelo entre a crítica ao colonialismo e a crítica feminista, atentando para a maneira como as subjetividades colonial e feminina trazem consigo semelhanças no que concerne ao modo como são concebidas em meio a estruturas de poder determinadas. Por fim, o artigo aponta o potencial utópico, no que se refere à luta por novos imaginários sociais, subjacente às duas posições. A conclusão do artigo é a de que o processo de subjetivação decorrente das lutas coloniais descrito por Fanon complementa e fortalece o conceito de domínio imaginário proposto por Cornell. O artigo adota como metodologia uma revisão de literatura específica da obra desses autores.
