A globalização da COVID-19 e seus impactos climáticos: um estudo dos países do G7

Resumo


 Com a redução das atividades econômicas ocasionada pela pandemia da COVID-19, os sinais de respiro apresentados pelo meio ambiente são permanentes? É a globalização responsável pela eclosão da pandemia da COVID-19? Os abalos provocados pela pandemia serão capazes de alertar as sociedades para a urgência da questão climática? Focando nos países do G7, exploramos dados quantitativos e indicadores selecionados para as dimensões estudadas: globalização, pandemia e mudança do clima. Observou-se que alguns dos países analisados que performam melhor no índice da globalização tiveram pior desempenho na gestão da pandemia, e mesmo com a desaceleração das economias e a queda nas emissões, os números voltaram a subir.
