A política externa da China sob Xi Jinping nas Nações Unidas: da passividade à proatividade nos assuntos internacionais

O presente artigo visa analisar a política externa da República Popular da China (RPC) sob Xi Jinping no que concerne à sua atuação na Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU). Assim, busca-se analisar se a atuação da China no sistema onusiano pode ser caracterizada como agressiva, revisionista ou assertiva, e em que medida sua política externa se diferencia das administrações anteriores. Em termos metodológicos, utilizar-se-á o método qualitativo e descritivo. Argumenta-se que a política externa de Xi Jinping se diferencia em grau e em intensidade das administrações anteriores, caracterizando-se por maior assertividade, ativismo e proatividade, especialmente na avaliação de sua atuação dentro das Nações Unidas.
