Influência da temperatura no desenvolvimento de Gnathocerus cornutus (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae). I. Fases Imaturas

Os experimentos para avaliar a influência da temperatura na duração das diferentes fases do ciclo evolutivo do besouro cornudo das farinhas, Gonathocerus cornutus (F., 1798), foram conduzidos às temperaturas de 19,00 + 0,14° C (meio ambiente), de 25±1°C, e umidades relativas de 73+1, de 70+ e de 70±%, respectivamente, utilizando como dieta a farinha de milho (fubá). A temperatura influenciou no desenvolvimento de todas as fases imaturas, pois a 19,00±0,14°C (meio ambiente), o ciclo evolutivo teve uma duração média maior, em relação às temperaturas de 25*1°C e de 30+1°C. Porém os resultados obtidos a 30+1°C evidenciaram, também, que nesta temperatura o ciclo evolutivo teve uma duração média maior do que a observada a 25±1°C, o que demonstra que a temperatura favorável para o desenvolvimentode G. cornutus está acima de 19+0,14°C e abaixo de 30+1°C, na dieta constituída por farinha de milho (fubá).
Abstract
The influence of three temperatures (25±1°C, 30±1°C and environment temperature) on the different immature stages of Gnathocerus cornutus (Fabricius, 1798) (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae), using maize flour, as diet, was studied. The temperature has influenced on all of immatures stages. The period, from egg to energence of subsequent adults, was greater at environment temperature (19,00+0,14°C), in relation to the teniperature of 25±1 and 30+11C, but the results obtained at 30+1°C showed that this same period was longer than at 25*1°C, showing that the more favourable temperature for the development of immatures stages is above the environment temperature and below 30+1°C, when the diet was maize flour.
Résumé
Les expérimentations pour estimer linfluence de la température dans la durée des différentes phases du cycle evolutif de Gathocerus cornutus (Fabricius, 1798) ou été conduits aux températures de 19,00±0.14°C (environnement), de 25±10 C, et de 30±1°C, utilisant comrne diète la farine de mais. La température a influencé lo développment de toutes les states jeunes, pouisque à 19,00±0,14°C (environnement) le cycle évolutif a en une durée moyenne plus grande, rapport aux températures de 25±1°C et 30 ±1°C. Cependant. les resultats obtenus à 30±1C ont puis en évidence, aussi, que dans cette température le cycle évolutif a en une durée moyenne plus grande que cette observée à 25±1°C, ce qui montre que la température favorable pour le développement de G. cornutus est au-dessus de 19±0.14°C et au-dessous de 30±1°C, dans la diète contituée pour farine de mais.
