Resumo

Compsoclepta fasciata gen. n. e sp. n. do noroeste da Argentina (San Pedro de Colalau, Tucumán) é descrita. Pertence à Nomadinae e tem relação com Protepeolini, mas o macho difere por ter placa basitibial; as margens internas dos olhos são moderadamente emarginadas e sem carina paraocular; um flagelômero basal curto e uma delicada pubescência plumosa, formando a larga fascia branca sobre os tergos dois a quatro.

Abstract

Compsoclepta fisciata gen. o. and sp. n. is described from Northwestern Argentina (San Pedro de Colalau, Tucumán). It belongs to Nomadinae and has some relation to Protepeolini, but the male differs by having a distinct pygidial plate, the inner margin of eyes moderately emarginate and without a parocular carina, a rather short basal flagelomere and a delicate plumose pubescence. particularly forming broad basal white fasciae on terga two to four.

Compsoclepta fasciata gen. n. et sp. n. est décrite du Nord-ouest de l'Argentine (San Pedro de Colalau, Tucumán). Cet genre est un Nomadinae.
