Resumo

Dados sobre Culicidae (Diptera) coletados na região do Lago de Itaipu, no município de Foz do Iguaçu, Brasil, entre janeiro de 1988 a março de 1990 são apresentados. E discutida a importância das espécies presentes como vetoras de doenças tropicais, E sugerida a extensão desses trabalhos aos demais municípios sob a influência direta do reservatóio de liaipu.

Abstract Data on Culicidae, collected in the area of Itaipu lake, Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brazil, from January 1988 to March 1990, are presented. It is discussed the importance of the collected species. It is also suggested the extension of this study to other localities of the Itaipu lake area.

Résumé

Dans cette recherche, on montre les données entomologiques de Culicidae, collectées dans la région du Lac de Itaipu, Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, Brésil. entre Janvier 1988 et Mars 1990; et aussi on discute los aspects principaux des Culicidae en tant que dos vectors problables dos maladies. On conscille lélargissernent de ces recherches aux autres districts, directement sous linfluence du réservoir du Lac de Itaipu.
