A discussão abrange desde os fundamentos teóricos propostos por Alan Turing e John von Neumann até as especulações contemporâneas de Vernor Vinge e Yuval Harari, refletindo sobre os impactos éticos, sociais e existenciais dessa transformação. Além disso, o artigo discute o papel da ética na regulação dessas tecnologias e os desafios impostos pelo avanço da automação. A Singularidade, longe de ser apenas uma especulação futurista, já influencia debates atuais sobre identidade, controle e responsabilidade moral.
