Abstract

T he article stresses Sartres still actual criticism of the Marxism of his own time, in the Critique of Dialectical Reason. It emphasizes, however, that its main target of criticism does not re s ide in the ind i v idual, as understood by Sartres humanism, but in the individual event, in historical singularity.
