Focus and Scope

doispontos is a journal linked to the post-graduate programs of the Federal University of Paraná and the Federal University of São Carlos. It publishes articles on philosophy and other areas of philosophical interest, and seeks to promote exchange between researchers in Brazil and abroad.

Peer Review Process

Each article shall receive two decisions, which may: (a) recommend publication; (b) recommend publication, on condition that changes be made; or (c) refuse publication. The publication of the articles approved by the decision-makers shall, however, depend on the Journal's budget.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides public access to its entire content, following the principle that providing free access to research creates greater international exchange of knowledge. Such access is associated with an increase in reading and citing of an author's work. For further information on this approach, visit Public Knowledge Project, a project which developed this system to improve the quality of academic and public research, distributing the OJS and other software for supporting the system of publication for open access to academic resources.
